Arnie & Deb Ziskovsky
Arnie & Deb Ziskovsky are active members of a Czech and Slovak folk dance group. They are also the founders of the Domaci Czech folk dancers of southern Minnesota. Their study of folk dress include the Bohemian and Moravian regions.
Don & Jeanette Pafko
Don & Jeanette Pafko have been performing Slovak Folk dance for over 12 years. They have studied the folk dress of Slovakia, having been taught by instructors such as Jarmila Palickova and other ethnologists who have devoted their lives to the study of Slovak folk dress as well as folklore. In addition, they possess an extensive collection of Slovak kroje.
Chris Miksanek
Chris Miksanek is the computer consultant and Webmaster for the Czech & Slovak American Genealogy Society of Illinois. He has presented Czech and Slovak computing topics at several major conferences. He is also the author of several articles on Eastern European computer genealogy topics and has developed several computer programs.
Helen Sclair
Helen Sclair known as "the Cemetery Lady", has been researching burial sites for more than twenty-five years. Her work includes attention to geology, cartography, transportation, religion, ethnicity, history, art, etc., all as they enhance knowledge of the cemetery. Helen, retired from teaching, now spends all of her life studying the dead.
George Rokos
George Rokos is a retired physicist who spent most of his career in the design and development of electromechanical devices. He is a Founding member of the Board of Directors and is currently Treasurer of the society. He is in charge of the Special Projects Committee which to date has published six books. For CSAGSI meetings he has assembled a display/information table to show the records that are available in Chicago.
Dominic Pacyga
Dominic Pacyga received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1981. He has co-authored two books concerning Chicago's neighborhoods. He has lectured widely on topics ranging from urban development to immigration and on Pilsen Park - Chicago's Czechs in Historical Perspective.
